Brunswick, MD – June 18, 2020 – Go2s, an innovative “Community-First” Social Networking tech startup, announces grant sponsorship support for early childhood educators.
The Better Together Family Engagement Grant awards direct funding for educators whose programs demonstrate a creative and impactful application of the Maryland Families Engage Framework and Toolkit, www.marylandfamiliesengage.org, and now on Go2s at https://www.go2s.com/group/maryland-families-engage. Two $5,000 funding grants take place, one in spring and one in fall.

In addition to the grant, Go2s free community social network has committed $30,000 in MSCCA-membership dues reimbursements to programs that set up and utilize the Go2s community social network group to connect and engage with staff and families.
Christina Peusch, MSCCA’s Executive Director and member of the Maryland Families Engage Coalition, is passionate about the importance of involving the whole family in preschool education. “Family Engagement is about using community strength to lead to better outcomes for everybody—parent and child—from helping achieve kindergarten readiness to parent-oriented programs focused on reaching their financial, educational, or family goals”
Go2s founder Mehdi Tehranchi is especially motivated to support child care in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. “It means a lot to me to offer financial support to child care providers and their staff through these two initiatives. The grant committee at Go2s was very impressed with all the applications and we’re excited to see how these funds will help empower families and educators working together.”
