Brunswick, MD – February 14, 2018 – Go2s, Brunswick’s hometown start-up, has been accepted to present at the Spring 2018 TechBuzz conference to be held on February 28th in Washington, DC. Billed as “the premier pitch event for the East Coast,” TechBuzz is a program of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) designed to put early-stage technology companies in front of investors, venture capitalists, and experienced CEOs.
Go2s is one of eighteen presenters chosen after a rigorous application process. Companies will have four minutes in which to describe and demonstrate their products in a bid for additional investment as well as valuable feedback from conference attendees. Social networking is highly competitive and it is noteworthy that Go2s has been recognized as a valuable tool that meets MAVA’s important criteria: it solves a problem.
Mehdi Tehranchi, CEO, observes, “Go2s is a game-changer for private social networking and is designed to transform the way people engage and interact online. Outdated platforms have grown to a gargantuan size and are failing to meet the everyday needs of their users. These social networks have become addicted to their advertising revenue and have lost focus on what matters to their users.”
In contrast, the Go2s app is “designed around trust, respect, and kindness with a focus on users’ interactions, daily activities, and, most importantly, the local business resources and organizations they depend on to thrive within their community,” Tehranchi continues. “We want to help empower the people that empower us.”
